What Are We Remembering?
That we are already Whole & Complete

Pratyahar, a practice to go inward
Pratyahar is the withdrawing of senses from all influences, external and internal, that keep us away from our own knowing. The first step towards meditation, this practice allows one to consciously retreat, to remember & reconnect with one's true nature.
Tools for Your Practice
sutra 1.2: yogah citta vritti nirodhah
"Yoga is the stilling of the modifications of the mind"
YOGA
Yoga means union or 'oneness'. It is a state of integration; a state of being that is untouched by conditioning. As we learn to observe sensations in the body, without a story, we begin to cultivate the witness that is compassionate and non-judgmental. Similarly, we can learn to witness the modifications of the mind. And as we come closer to being the witness, we learn to become less identified with our thoughts and thus conditioning.

YOGA NIDRA
Yoga Nidra is a guided practice that harnesses the biological process of sleep to enter a state of meditation. Using a series of breath, body & awareness techniques, Yoga Nidra consciously follows the brainwaves down towards sleep where thoughts naturally distance themselves. Here we can easily enter the gap between us and our thoughts and re-establish the experiential knowing that we are more than what the mind thinks.

Testimonials
Malika is a wonderful teacher who creates a serene learning environment even over Zoom. Her instructions are clear and easy to follow, and her classes are set at the perfect pace for those of us just beginning our yoga journey. I highly recommend her and cannot wait until we can start classes in person.

Malika has saved me from the stress of the pandemic and has kept my sanity with Yoga Nidra classes. Her voice is gentle and calming, her guidance is very clear, and I get deeply relaxed during the class and feel rejuvenated after the class every time. I also love the intensions she introduces each time. They make me go deeply inward. Despite being self-isolated, I feel I’m connected to Malika, myself, and the wider universe. Her remote Yoga Nidra classes are the best thing happened due to the pandemic. Thanks, Malika!

I look forward to Malika’s Yoga Nidra sessions like I would an outing in lockdown or a fan coming on after a power breakdown in summer. Relief, a break, an insight. A gentle turning on of change.

The beginning of the pandemic,I was going through a lot of anxiety and mental turmoil. Times were uncertain, spending sleepless nights. It was during this period I got introduced to Yog Nidra . Though I have done yoga for sometime but not yog Nidra in particular.
These sessions have made an impact on me. The calming effect of course did not happen immediately . Still trying to get into the thick of yoga Nidra.
The best part of yoga Nidra are the way the sessions are conducted . Malika guides us with so much peace, tranquility and patience.
I really enjoy the sessions and try my best not to miss them . look forward to the classes every week

Yoga Nidra is the perfect way to relax body and mind. I would highly recommend Yoga Nidra and I have found it really helpful in learning to switch off the distractions. It is definitely worth a try for anyone, especially for students, who needs to relax and recharge their batteries. Malika is a great teacher. Thanks.

My experience of Yoga & Yog Nidra with Malika has been absolutely DELIGHTFUL! For someone like me who’s been doing Yoga for over four decades now, Malika’s interpretations of Yoga Nidra and her soothing voice always leave me asking for more! The Nidra experience is ALWAYS extremely rejuvenating, refreshing and energizing....I recommend it highly to one and all, looking to de stress, to find balance, or to simply relax. I also know that Yoga Nidra is a powerful tool for us to achieve our optimum potential.....only when we’re rested well, we’re more likely to perform our roles better.
